DearPDF-lite WP Rating 5.0/5 provides 2 display modes for PDFs – vertical reader or flipbook but no flipbook images, no PDF downloads, no PDF links are active. 3D Flip WP Rating 5.0/5 offers PDF, Image or HTML flipbooks with advanced styling and controls.
Offers images and supposedly PDF flipbooks using shortcodes. But there are 2 major flaws – despite efforts with Kadence and Astro themes plus Gutenberg and Elementor page editors, I could not insert PDFs nor could I control the display width, height, and sound. Also Booklet does not have a robust control bar with single page to double page display, panning and sound control plus NO download control. A colleague likes this plugins, so maybe a zoom session is all we need to get it working.

3DFlip is free and has so many advanced features there is no need for a premium version. But it is complex in setup – so a video tutorial would be helpful.
Summary
Look what has happened. Wordress plugin developers have taken the jQuery and then CSS+JScaipt flipbook technology and brought it with full features for WordPress users – PDF, images, or HTML pages with more than a half dozen styling options like single-page vs double page switch. Or full page display or container frame with styling options. Download, print, and share options are enabled.
